What Is An X-ray

X-Ray is a beam of high energy radiation that is able to pass through many kinds of solid materials. Scientists have found many uses for x-rays.

An x-ray is also a special photograph using such an x-ray beam. The photograph can be used to treat and examine the internal organs in the body, such as identifying a broken bone or cavities in teeth.
