Cody bought some happy face stickers. He put them on pieces of bright green paper and wrote, "I am happy that you are part of my world." Every time he thought of it, he secretly left one of the notes. He handed out 12 notes on Monday, 7 notes on Tuesday, and 9 notes on Wednesday. How many did he hand out in all?
