Phonics
Gobble and Go! Make a bulletin board with a picture of a turkey saying "Gobble!" and an image of a green traffic light labeled "Go." Ask your child to collect "long O" and "short O" words from cereal boxes, magazines and newspapers and post the words on the bulletin board under the corresponding headings. *You can also do this on butcher paper or construction paper.
