During a tornado, people often seek shelter in a basement. One of the stores in town has a large basement, and several shoppers have entered the basement following a tornado warning.
The people in the basement are: 15 employees of the store, the owner of the store and his wife, 5 employees from the McDonald's across the street, 4 members of the Smith family, 3 members of the Jones family and one policeman. How many people are in the basement?
